Once you started nesting how long was it before you went into labor? I'm sure it varies but I'm asking any way. I have been lazy lazy lazy not even wanting to clean anything. Then yesterday I got the itch to clean everything. I woke up all pissed off that everything wasn't perfect. I was so stressed I wanted to kill or cry I couldn't figure out which. Then I started cleaning my room dusting it and hanging stuff on the walls. I haven't gotten to the closet yet. I had to stop myself cuz after that I cleaned the kitchen and the livingroom then vacuumed the whole house. This all started by me wanting to clean my room. I went to the gro store becuz we are about to get hit by a huge strom and started contracting it seemed to last forever. Then just went away while in line and didn't come back. Then I came home started clning the livingroom again did more laundry (3 loads of some dirty some not) then the bathroom. Today I feel like its not clean enough. I'm -2 station last time and 50% efface

I always nested within a week of delivering my kids. Good luck and hopefully you won't get caught at home in labor during the storm!
Might want to go to the hospital to get checked out just in case before the storm hits. Better safe then sorry.

Some women start nesting very early and some wait until the end. Obviously you are getting ready for the baby but it doesn't determine when you will go into labor.
I'll tell you this...if you keep up all that hard work you will send yourself into possible pre-term labor so please be careful. I know the urge is there and you want to do everything but think about the health of your baby. The baby needs to stay inside for as long as possible, especially now since this is when the lungs are developing.
Talk to your doctor the next time you go in...I'm sure they'll check to see if you've dilated and you can get a better idea. I'm sure you still have a few more weeks to go :-)
The best of luck!

You still have a few weeks... If you begin to get regular contractions from cleaning or hard work, take it easy... It is still really early for your baby to come... Average 1st pregnancies are 41 weeks 1 day, Pregnancies with prior births average 40 weeks 3 days!!! I could be very soon , but I would try to hang on at the very least to 38 weeks, better would be 40 though. Its good to get clean & organized it will save time, energy, & frutraition later, after the baby is here...But don't hurt yourself, or your child by over-doing it!

It could be any time, but you are going to push yourself into labor if you don't stop cleaning and moving about so much. 35 weeks is not super premature, but my son was a 35 weeker and had to spend a few weeks in the NICU (some 35 weekers don't even need the NICU at all) and I had to go home without him. Try to take it easy and put your feet up, let that baby cook a little longer. Get to 37 weeks and then dust and vacuum to your hearts content.

i all started nesting around 33 weeks and stopped while i replace into 37 weeks. i'm now previous due and if i don't circulate into hard paintings by Monday then i would be prompted. regrettably nesting is not any indication of hard paintings. I pass over nesting in spite of the undeniable fact that because of the fact my place of abode replace into on no account purifier :)

I was like that for a while before giving birth, but a couple days before giving birth I made a to do list because i was stressed out about getting everything in place for the baby. Well... you still could have weeks to wait, and it would be best for your baby if it were at least one more week until he or she is born.

I started the whole "nesting" thing about a month before baby was due. It was crazy. I washed everything day after day! You're baby will come when he/she is ready. It could be any day or it could be another few weeks. I hope you have a wonderful baby who is happy and healthy and remains that way for his life. Good luck to you and congrats!

WOW! The night I went into labor I told my husband we need to clean the house go grocery shopping, etc. I went CRRRAAAZZZYY! I wanted everything done that night. We spent the whole day cleaning house and went grocery shopping. That night (morning) at 2 a.m. I went into labor. I know all about the nesting stage. I went through it. It just depends on you. Sometimes it takes 1 hour and sometimes its take 1 week, you just never know. Let time take it's course and relax!!
