Your doctor would probably have the best solution for you but if it's just from aging joints, Osteo-biflex is supposed to be really helpful. I tried it and it seems to take away some stiffness in my joints. Stretching the muscles is also a good thing. Lots of people do Tai Chi or Yoga type exercises and swear by it.

I have heard glucosamine and condroiton help restore the cartilage. That is what they are made of. or eat jello, the same stuff. Keep them warm and daily movement to keep them from getting worse. Take something like ibuprofin to manage the inflamation, swelling and pain. If you are overweight, do something about that now!
