Wow, why do people keep saying ohio st. might win the national championship and yet they don't even mention Wisconsin?!? Wisconsin is 18-1 (including a victory over ohio st.) Give them some respect, people! As for a mid-major team winning the national championship, it probably won't happen. But who knows, maybe what George Mason did last year will throw open the final four door to other teams that aren't highly touted.

no way!! the only conference that deserves 6 teams in is the ACC they are the best top of the line in college basketball, but mid majors are doing much better, watch out for VCU out of the CAA they are hot and they have anthony grant the assistant from flordias championship team last year, and they are rolling 17 - 3.... also app state is doing well, as well and many other mid majors

NO WAY will a mid-major win the tourney... no chance... but there are chances for upsets here and there.... A powerhouse conference team will win (ACC/Pac-10/or Big 12 Probly) posibly oh st. outta the big 10

An upset is pretty simple... the favored team loses is an "upset"

THESE ARE TWO MAJOR UPSETS

NC STATE OVER HOUSTON IN 1983
VILLANOVA OVER GEORGETOWN IN 1985

A MID-MAJOR WILL NOT WIN THE TOURNAMENT.
