Not everything is about looks. People can be attracted to someone for their personalities, looks are just a bonus. But in this case, it sounds like a classic teenage rebellion. Good girls like bad guys. Besides, I've heard plenty of stories where friends take each others virginities just to get it out of the way and avoid the awkwardness of having sex with someone with more experience than them.

maybe some guys don't care as much about physical appearance as some do. You say she's hideous but to someone else she could be pretty. It's all a matter of preference.

A guy like that is confused and desperate and without standards. Some guys are just like that. Probably was on drugs. Anythings with a pulse.
I've never had a regret in my past. I think fondly of my ex's all the time. They were all hot and sweet.

Somehow I feel too much emotions in this for it to be a casual question.
Why is that " such a mystery" eating you like that? I have met very very few hideous looking people in my life so maybe she's not that bad after all and if you stopped hating her ( for whatever reason) you will find that she isn't so bad and that nowadays people don't get married because of a pregnancy.

"Ugly" girls need love, too. Often, those who are not found in the dictionary under "beautiful" happen to have other more enduring qualities than just looks (like being able to cook or being easier to get along with). After all, beauty fades with time. Sadly, some "pretty" girls are so full of themselves that they make poor choices for a life companion. It all depends on if one is looking at the "big picture" or only seeing what is in front of their nose at the moment.

For most guys, it doesn't take much. Heck, a strong breeze is all that is needed. And then, there is the GREAT woman equalizer - BEER! Enough beer and the beer goggles come on. That being said, I'd have to be dang near comatose to hook up for the girl you described.
