Hello everyone, lately I'v been wanting to go out to the store and buy a scaf. It gets cold in Chicago city and I think they kinda look cool. I know this is a silly question but do women find men that wear scarfs unattractive or gay??

no i think men look warmer than those who don't wear them.
plus its been so freakin cold this year who cares what you look like as long as you are warm. i bought one for my hubby. my kid bet me he would not wear it but mother knows best and father stays warm.

It really depends on how you wear the scarf. It also depends on the pattern on the scarf. You will almost always be able to tell which is a guys scarf and which is a girls. I cross mine in the front and tuck it in the jacket. I have a Burberry style scarf (its not a real Burberry though) and I bought it at a Mens Wearhouse. If you go into a men's clothing store (Men's Wearhouse's are still selling them) you are guaranteed to find a scarf that you like, and it is obviously for a guy. They might also be able to give you tips on how to wear it.

Why are you so worried about appearing gay? If you were a secure masculine male you would not be so concerned. I am gay, more masculine than most straight guys and still would look like a man even if I wore a pink ruffled shirt. By the way, most gay guys are better dressers and usually start fashion trends. If the scarf is functional, then buy it and wear it in good health. And to all of you fuc*king homophopics...I would love to meet you in a dark alley and kick the sh*it out of you. Chicago is my birth place....great town, but living in California.

No its not a stupid question......I'm a girl ( I'm a model) I get at least 2-5 guys asking for my number everyday and in the winter time...nothing looks more stupid then a guy who's barely wearing anything and looks frozen half to death. On the other hand I find that guys who wears scarfs look very sexy. To me it means that they are confident enough about how they look that they don't worry about a scarf making them look bad or gay. And on top of that, they have enough common sense to wear warm clothes when its cold......Guys with a scarf look professional, smart and sexy...what more could you ask for.

First off I think that men in scarfs are hot. Secondly I just wanted to point out that the only people on here that say otherwise are other men. What do they know about what women want?

No at all..All of us need to put a scarf on when it cold, sometimes the scarfs look very attractive so you should be careful to its color and the way you put it on..Look!If you want to make anything in this life and you sure that thing isn't wrong,just be confident and do it..

Scarfs on men are neither unattractive nor lead to the assumption that they are gay. Buy a scarf that will go with anything, but know that it has a purpose (to keep you warm). Now, earmuffs are another subject...

I have never thought a guy was gay because he wore a scarf. I think guys worry too much about that stuff. I know women have issues too, right. Go buy your scarf and warm up.

Scarfs are extremely popular here in Italy so, no. Italy is the fashion center of the world and the scarf trend will go to the U.S. in a couple of years. Be the first!

i think its pretty hott actually. but the way you wear it might be the feminine tie around the neck and thats pretty gay.
but of you just have it around your neck casually....its pretty hott....reminds me of british guys for some reason. and british guys= good.
ok i found a good scarf tie for men...make sure your scarf is long enough for this: fold your scarf in half and drape it around your neck then pull the part where its not the fold throo the fold. (that is hott and im not saying this to suck up so i get best answer)
or you can just have it around your neck (but that isnt really warm)
watever you do dont put like one side of scarf over your shoulders bc thats just stupid

I think they look great w/scarves! I saw a guy the other day with a long black coat and he had a black, gray, and white scarf that looked really good together. Go for it Hot Stuff!
