no he probably isn't wrong. if you only have a little tummy at 4 months then you aren't carrying twins. My friend is carrying twins and at 4 months she looked 6 months. She is now about 6 months and looks about 7.5.

Unfortunately doctors may be wrong about somethings, but usually not this...They have it pretty down as far as +/- 1 or 2 weeks... You may have a little belly either due to bowel distension (where your growing uterus pushes out your other internal organs) or maybe you are carrying twins??? I think every woman wishes the Doc was wrong so that they might be 1 day/1 week/1 month closer to holding their baby...But most of the time they are right.
If you have been pregnant before, that can also contribute to a little pooch at this stage...The muscles tend to relaxer easier & earlier with each pregnancy! So congrats! & try to be patient your body & your baby need all 40 weeks or so to grow & become healthy enough to survive out of your belly!

They are usually pretty accurate and they also measure your belly at every appt. so if you were too big they would either tell you your eating too much during this preganancy and have gained too much weight or recheck accuracy of expectant date.
By that date my belly button had already popped out. Plus this is the fun month when if you sit quietly you should start to feel movement.
Remember all preganancies look different. Some women carry right out in front. Some tend to look more round. If you are tiny to start it will show faster. Some larger women don't ever look much different.

i don't think the doctor could be wrong b/c they give or take at least 2 weeks to the pregnancy. i'm 22 weeks and i feel like i'm further than that, but i'm not. and on top of that i look like i'm carrying twins cuz my belly is big, but i'm only carrying one and my weight is perfectly on track. don't feel too bad though b/c alot of women are like this.
