Okay, I'm a country gal who likes her jeans and Tee! I have my husband's Christmas party coming up. It's business casual. jeans are allowed but looked down upon. My body reminds me of an upside down lamp. straight all the way down until the round part. I've got a big butt, big hips, and big thighs. My husband wants me to wear either a dress or pants with a shirt with color. I'm a young woman, what am I supposed to wear?? I have no fashion sense what so ever so I'm really in need of help!!

A T-length dress with a halter type top. (the straps go around the back of your neck.) This will make your chest look bigger, and your waist and thighs look smaller. Wear heals if you can stand them. (I hate heals but I'll wear them only for nice affairs like these)

Christmas party???? Well an A-line dress. (google this for examples) would be best for your body type. In particular one with an Empire waist.
