It is not a difficult game at all. I don't want to spoil the game for other readers. Just level up, get good armor and weapons. If you are level 50+, you can finish it.

Complete your hunts to up your skill level and strength... or go to a good place near a save to achieve some good experience points to up your levels... better yet, equip the item to double your experience points earned first. It will make continueing the game easier.
It will be much more fullfilling to see it for yourself.

get decent equipment and be level 47. if you still cant do it level up and get some good equipment.
but if you really want to know, everyone dies. Vaan kills Balthier because he wants to leave Penelo behind. and since Vaan loves Penelo he cant leave her behind. so Vaan kills him. then Fran throws Vaan off the ship killing him. then Fran kills Ashe for leading them on that stupid chase. Basch has to defend Ashe due to his honor. he kills her. then its Ashe and Basch. Vossler comes back and kills Basch. Ashe drinks the poison and dies. Vossler does a maniacal laugh and fin.
