For apts www.craigslist.org For job look on yahoo yellow pages for companies in your field. Call and find out if they have openings and if you can fax over your resume and to who's attention. If they don't have an opening ask them if they know someone who does. Follow up with call to person you faxed to in 3-5 days

Depends on where in Colorado. Colorado Springs and Denver have the most to offer in terms of jobs. Overall, rent in both major metro areas is reasonable. Check out www.rent.com for more info. Usually you can sort the apartments by price and it offers decent pictures to give you an idea.
As for jobs, check out job boards like Monster, HotJobs, Careerfinder, etc. Also, check out the local newspapers online and search job listings that way.
If you have no money in your pocket, though, how are you going to move?
