I've decided not to get my naval pierced by the way.Tell me if I should get it with a gun or needle.

Should I get my cartilage pierced with a gun or needle?

it doesn't hurt; I would rate it a 1.5...Oh and I had mine done with a gun.

The piercing itself doesn't really hurt all that much with a gun I'd rate it about 2-2.5 because it goes pretty quick. It does however hurt after the fact and if you lay on it when you sleep which really hurts. Honestly it depends on how much pain you can take. Good luck on whatever you decided to do!

if youv'e ever gotten shots it similar i'd go for the gun its much quicker like a bee sring the needle sucks i did that when i was a teen it was painful and got infected real bad when i got them done professionaly it looked better and hardly any pain espically compared to having a baby so i'd say 1 on the scale..(i didn't have the baby till years later though)
