The prom dress designer "Dimitra Mandala'" who won the 2006 Prom Retailer of the year can get you anything. I know her personally and she is a very nice lady. I know she has some Dresses around $150. and that's very cheap for the lines she creates.

I would try eBay! you can usually find a nice formal dress for a fraction of the cost.
I also have about 10 formal dresses I may put on eBay or take to a local consignment shop. If you are interested, email me, let me know what size you are looking for. I can send pics of all the dresses. Just let me know:)

If you can shop online, go to15dollarstore.com.
They have all kinds of cute dresses, shoes, purses, etc and they all cost just $15. Now they don't have any gowns so, if that is what you are looking for, don't bother although I saw one black dress where the hem came down to the ankle. They do have several dresses that have the handkerchief cut hem that I think are really cute.
So check it out. You might find just what you are looking for.
