Well maybe not terrified yet but it is odd that world leaders can meet at the grove and its not news,but Britney spears can show her stuff and everyone hears about it.

You make it sound so conspiritorial. There is nothing secret about liberals desire to become a more integrated world where the US has less power and the UN has more. When people start blaming the bildebergers or the trialteral commision they are missing the point and making the idea sound less mainstream than it is. Liberals want the UN to have more power and the US to become more like Europe. Will this result in less individual freedom. Of course it will. It doesn't matter if some small group of people believes in world integration a big part of the population believes in the same thing.

Government blundering makes it clear that any paronoid wondering about a new world order or zionist occupying government or black helicopters is as stupid as the inept response to Katrina. It's amazing how this stuff drags on and on. You might look up the episode of WKRP in Cincinnati that delt with this kind of stuff.
