I'm the same way, and it sucks to be like that because, people always label you as a loud mouth or a troublemaker or "always having an opinion", when it has to do with THEM, and yet when it comes to speaking out to someone else, they WANT you on THEIR side of the argument, and make sure that you pretty much do all the talking...and take all the backlash in the meantime (which we are also good at doing).

I think MY reason for being that way is that when I was growing up, I lived in a very strict household where the kids weren't allowed to have ANY opinions. Needless to say, as soon as I got outside the house, I looked for ANY way to get out my repressed aggression and felt that having an opinion for or against ANYTHING meant that I counted, and dammit...people were gonna hear it! And now, as an adult with my own household, I am free to speak my mind, and so are my kids (respectfully).

When your allowed to speak your mind, you KNOW your mind, and you lose the NEED to "fight" all the time to be heard.

can i answer this without an arguement? i think it is because you derive some kind of pleasure from making it known that you do know what you are talking about. I have been drawn into debates with people even though i don't like to debate, I just make sure I know a lot before answering back. What I don't like is when someone keeps pressuring you for advice or an answer then tell you that you are wrong. If someone does not want to hear my opinion, then don't ask me for it. But you may feel a boost of self-confidence when proven you are right about something so your ego is designed to constantly prove your knowledge. We no longer live in a society that requires extreme knowledge in order for us to survive, that is why we love the drama of reality shows. because it forces us to think of what we would do if we were in that situation. remove from us the application of our knowledge and we have no other outlet other than debate, or arguement. of course I could be wrong and you just like to hear yourself. But are you arguing or debating? There is a difference. Usually an arguement involves verbal abuse but a debate is constructive intelligence.

It is because of your Ego only!

You yourself admitted, that you never leave the chance of fighting with others.

And you know one thing, you accept openly and others are not, that is it! Human mind craves for recognition from others!
And you are unknowingly want to prove to all of your friends, that you are a brave one by nature!! And you constantly beg and earn the name from others (for the sake of nothing).
OK, LET ME ASK ONE QUESTION. IF YOU ARE LIVING WITH ONLY ONE OTHER FELLOW BEING IN A DESERT. THEN, WOULD YOU BE STILL FIGHTING?
Yes, no one will!
When there are more people and more mass/ groups, there comes group psychology!
Individually a single man/ woman by nature is good only.

But as a group he/she is not that much good, talking, ARGUING and acting only evil for the sake of SATISFYING his/ her GROUP ONLY!

Watch out and be aware of your own mind!

Nothing wrong with that. Just your personality, no psychologic problems, and some people will even like you because of that kind of personality.

Some people just naturally have a short fuse, or you might just be uptight.
