im asking this becuase soemoen said they would leave them if they got into a coma so i wanted to know the general feeling on the subject

If my boyfriend, whom I love with all my heart, were to get into an accident(that I knew about and could not do anything to stop) I would show him and do everything to him while I had the chance. I would stay by his side until he got out of the coma, and there was no brain activity showing and the machine was keeping him alive. I would still want his parents to keep him alive, if they didn't, I'd probably jump off a building or try to protest it. If he's brain dead, than he is not coming out of the coma. I don't even want to think about that. I'm sorry I could not have answered your question better hon. In actuality, I show him I love him everyday. You never know when someone's time is up. You shouldn't wait til something horrible happens to decipher or let them know how you feel. Cherish the moments you have with them everyday. That's the best policy to everyone. Your mother, your father, sisters, brothers, friends, family members. Let them know you love them while they're still here. While you're still here. After that, it's too late. No one should have to question you're love for them. It's devastating.

I would hold his hand, talk about current events, read to him, sing, shave his beard so it wouldn't become over grown. Lay in bed next to him to cuddle, cause hospitals can be a cold place.
...For best or worse, in sickness and health...
Prayer is the most important thing of all...my dad got into an accident that DID kill him and then he was brought back, but after they got him to the hospital and fixed what they could he was in a coma for 3 weeks. They said he would never walk again and he does fine and doesn't even limp.
Same with my husbands brother that about died in a motorcycle accident (he was in a coma several months), but I didn't know them at the time. They brought him home to die but he came back, not mentally though. It shattered his skull, caused brain damage and he has a steel plate covering 3/4 of his brain.

I don't know....maybe lock them in the closet for the next week...but for sure tell them that I love them because accidents can happen in a closet, too!

make this week the best of all the weeks we spent together, i will make everything he loves,i will let him enjoy it to the maximum, and hold him tight as i know i will be missing him a lot after wards....or i will keep him at home to avoid the accident;

Prevent the accident from happening. If that isn't possible, I would be there for them even if they are in a comatose state.

Lock him in a basement room and don't let him out till that week has passed... I'd do anything possible to prevent that. :(
If i couldn't prevent it, I'd be there for him. What else? And if I had to sit at his bedside for the rest of my life, I would.

let them know how much they mean to me and do whatever they wanted to for the next week and plan romantic dinners and let them see i love them with all of my heart.
