What a great name! I like the spelling!

I agree around 30 weeks you will be able to have your husband feel the movement. Right now there is so much room in there for him to move around that he is not pushing on your belly so that you can see it or someone else can feel it.

I recall towards the end of my first pregnancy my daughter kicked me and I could see this egg shape coming up off the skin on my belly. Or coming up under it I should say. It was really interesting to see that prominant shape from the baby's movement.

I would think in the next 4 weeks you will start to notice patterns and times of the day when you could say your baby is more active then others. Or there might be things that you do, laying down, sitting down, sleeping, walking, driving in the car that you notice your baby is more active. I always enjoyed my drives to work because I would have that time to focus and feel the baby moving.

Enjoy it, before you know it you will have him in your arms and part of you will miss this feeling of a life inside of you!

I would say within the next few weeks, your hubby should feel the baby...Try lying down at night when it is quiet, if you can feel the baby moving, try pushing (your hand on the spot you feel the baby moving) a little (to get closer to the baby). It will probably feel like a twitch on the outside, then, if you can feel the baby yourself, let your hubby try. He may not know what to look for, for a while. Be patient...Pretty soon, you'll sleep through all those movements & he'll (the baby) will be waking your husband up by kicking him!!! At tleast thats what happened to me!

Some women notice "quickening" as early as 16 weeks, most don't until about 18 weeks or more. If this is your first baby, don't be too anxious — you may not be aware of your baby's movements until 20 weeks or so. The earliest movements may feel like little flutters, gas bubbles, or even like popcorn popping. Over the following weeks they'll start to feel unmistakably like kicks.

Congratulations!

Your husband "feeling" the baby depends on how you are made.

I would guess if you can feel the baby move it won't be long before he can as well.

It is very exciting to "feel" the baby move.

Take care,
Marc
