Well, which type of tetras do you have? there are over 30 different types. Neons, harlequin, bloodfin, serpae, etc etc.. How about some barbs? (avoid tiger barbs) Get small groups, they school well. Danios are top swimmers also schooling fish, they come in many different types with various colors. (as noted above Clown loaches are awesome) They have really neat characters. I would avoid discus, as they aren't for community tank, they prefer extremley soft water and a very low ph. Gouramis are nice as long as you avoid the semi aggressive types like opaline, gold, paradise..etc. You didnt mention the size of the tank, so depending on how many you have already, it may limit different schools of fish. I try to keep my schools in groups of 5 or 6. Have fun

it depends on the size of the tank. if it is only 5-10 gallons i would suggest some hardy tetras, danios, white clouds, barbs, platies, and a betta. if you get a betta just make sure that any of the fish you get aren't fin nippers. Just get a few fish to start with until the tank cycles. Stay away form hard to care for tetras like cardinals or neons unless you have a stable temperature. they need it around 78-82. If you get a heater and are using florescent light you can get those and they'll do just fine. Another nice accent piece is live plants. They will help stabilize the tank and look nice too. Make sure to get a cory ir kuli loach to eat leftover fish food. 1" of fish per 1 gallon of water so choose wisely. Hope this helps

a couple I have and love are the bolivian rams, they are from the cichilid family. They have a nice pink coloring on the fins. Also a glo fish, they come in a pink, orange, gren, and yellow. They are very bright and glow in a black light as well. Also guppies with the long flowing tails are very pretty, they have tails that come in blue, red, green, yello. I have all these fish and they all are community tank fish. I also have platys that come in all sorts of colors. THey have ones that are called micky mouse platys that have a shape of mickeys head on their back end, i have a blue coral one that is very shimmery looking, and spotted ones. I hope this gives you some ideas:)

Sounds like you already have some colorful fish! You may want to consider adding some guppies, but be warned that your tetras may nip at their pretty fins!
