I consider myself being a independend woman. I can work, I can drive, can go places by myself, can go to the beach, can travel around and can wear western clothes. What can I ask more for? I don't care that I needed my husband's permission to obtain a drivers license. He needed permission from his sponsor to get one. So what.
The UAE are a Muslim country, but very open to foreigners. Of course there are certain things you have to respect. A woman (and also a man) should not run around in the city being half nacked. No decent woman would do that anyway. No matter where.
Local women of course like their homecountry.
Expat women love Dubai for the lifestyle they can have here.
Of course you can not generalize. Maybe you find a woman who doesn't like that you can not live together without being married, that you hardly can be a single Expat mother in the UAE or complaining about the weather. You always find people to complain about something.
The most women love the UAE.
To the first answerer. If I would decide to live in Saudi, I wouldn't have any problems either. I would go be the countr's rules and won't have any problems. Don't put anybody down just for a different lifestyle. If you don't like it, just stay away. Easy to do.

all of us like dubai be it women or men
apart from the freedom of doing what u want decently u have the freedom to move around without any undue fear of unsafe acts . the crime rate is quite less here

i love dubai!!! lots of shopping and great places. Its an excellent place to go to. Lots of gold and material.

VERY, infact the gov. doesn't want to be like some narrow minded Arab countries like Saudi so when it comes to jobs, women get MUCH higher priority than men.
