I want to know how many of you remember WATCHING, not just reading about or hearing about, wrestlers like Jake the snake and ravishing rick rude(not dx version) and demolition. I want to know who you are so I know who the real fans are. I'm tired of the little high school kids talking about how Cena is the best of all time. If he wrestled back with the guys I just named, he would be a mid-carder at best even with a better gimic to suit the times.

We can't relive the past. It's time to move on and appreciate what we have today.

Those were the good days. Jake the Snake and Rick Rude had a classic feud. Remember the tights Rude had with Jake's wife's face on the front. What about Greg the Hammer Valentine and Brutus Beefcake, The Killer Bees, The British Bulldogs, Doom (Ron Simmons and Butch Reed), Ron Garvin, Demolition was a classic tandem. The list is never ending, Nikolai Volkov, Big John Stud, KoKo B. Ware, and George "The Animal" Steel. This was w/o even mentioning the bigger names of the era and just these guys could put on a better show than any of the WWE's current roster of today!

You mean guys like Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Mr Wonderful Paul Orandorff, The Iron Sheik, Junkyard Dog, Greg the Hammer Valentine, Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase, The Ultimate Warrior, Superfly Jimmy Snuka, The Freebirds, Brett the Hit Man Hart?

Maybe some of the managers like Elizabeth, Classy Freddie Blassie, The Mouth of the South, Skandar Ackbar?

Heck yea I remember Jake the Snake & Damian (his snake). Did you ever get to watch behind the matt,(i think it was called that) the documentary on wrestling, shows Jake a lot and how he got hooked on crack, sad. But hes still the man. Rick Rude was the sh** to , he actually dated a guy I work withs sister. RIP RICK.
I remember all the old school wrestlers, Von Erichs, JYD, Superfly Snuka, Billy Graham, Ricky the Dragon Steamboat, Michael PS Hayes, Big John Stud, old school tag teams also like Rock n Roll Express, Midnight Express, LOD, Demolition, The Rockers, Bushwackers(or the sheepherders) just to name some. I also miss the old school 4 Horseman!!!! Cant remember the original members but I know at one point it was like Rick Flair, Arn Anderson, Lex Luger, and I think Dusty Rhodes might have been one 2..... wow the old days of wreslting!!!!

Oh yea I almost forgot, I saw Paul Orndorff @ a gomart like 2 months ago!!! I bout sh** myself, Mr.Wonderful in go-mart buying a gatorade and filling up his gas tank!!!!! Too cool....

I watched a lot when guys like Macho Man Randy Savage, and Hulk Hogan were still in the WWF. I was a big Tatanka fan as well. I never really got into Jake the Snake though, although the snake was cool from time to time.

I actually got more into wrestling when Stone Cold was fueding with Savio Vega (right before the "Attitude Era")

Yeah Justice Man! Brett Hart was awesome! One of my fav's

I love Jake The Snake and Rick Rude. Also a big fan of Jerry "The King" Lawler, Johnny and Tommy Rich, Roddy Piper, Andre The Giant, The Freebirds, Rock and Roll Express, Stunning Steve Austin before he became Stone Cold, and Jesse "The Body" Ventura before he became an elected official. Jerry Blackwell was also one of my favorites.

Yeah I remembe the days of the Million dollar challenge with Teddy himself, IRS, King Kong Bundy, Yokazuna, The Hart Foundation, old school Undertaker, Andre, and Hulk. Those were the times, and Bret Hart really hooked me into watching in 92' when I was like 5.

That was me dude....
I used to watch it from before that also.....
The Snuka/Piper feud.....
The Hogan/Orndorf matches.....
I thought Demolition was one of the best tag teams around, next to the Killer bees and the British Bulldogs!
The Undertaker was awesome back then, but he's even cooler now........
Then there was the Greg the Hammer Valentine and Brutus Beefcake...... Oh man, the list is endless with REAL wrestlers...

Cena.....PLEASE..........

These kids should go watch old clips of Bret the Hitman Hart to see a REAL wrestler (within the true meaning of the word)

a authentic wrestling an is someone who really enjoys wrestling, no be counted how a lot they watch and how lengthy they have been gazing. human beings claiming they seem a authentic fan and others are not because they watch more desirable promotions or carry particular reviews (Liking John Cena does not make someone a lot less of a wrestling fan) are basically smug.

I'm with you. bro. I grew up beforeall this mess they call wrestling. I loved Jake Roberts. I also marked for Mr. Wrestling 1 & 2, The Assassins, The Andersons, Ric Flair and Wahoo McDaniels. Cena can't tie the boots of any of those guys.
