This is my third pregnancy and we can afford to get the big stuff on our own, so i don;t want to register for big ticket items like a swing and bouncies and such, just want it to be a very informal (cheap if you will) gift giving experience for everyone. What things would you suggest registering for?

Don't even register! If you want it to be punk rock get a buncha baby tees and onesies, have the girls over for food, break out the silkscreen and screenprint some really unique DIY baby clothes! Have them all make or bring something to decorate the nursery!
If someone wants to get you a gift, let them pick out whatever they want or ask them to contribute to the baby's college fund!

If I were you, I wouldn't register for gifts - be a real punk and make the gift-giving DIY or recycled.

Everyone has to make (knit, sew, crochet) or find their gift (thrift store, craigs list, freecycle).

To get diapers, you can have a raffle - for every 10 diapers someone brings, you give them a raffle ticket. At the end of the day, you pick out tickets and give away prizes...I don't know what prizes would be punk...maybe some punk record albums, or mix tapes, or some kind of punk zine...

Have fun!

I would just ask for diapers, bottles, and the regular stuff. I wish the best for you and your pregnancy. Children are such a blessing and far more than just a choice. Have a great weekend!

they have some cute baby handprint kits...or fun clothing items. Or possibly don't register..just tell people that whatever they want to get is great and that you don't need any of the big stuff. I didn't register for my babyshower and still got great stuff but didn't put any pressure on anyone.

You should definitely register at Target. They carry all of the daily necessities for baby at fairly inexpensive prices.
Diapers, wipes, bibs, burping cloths, formula, bottles, pacifiers, onesies, etc.
Congratulations

Well where are you registering? You could get onsies (you can never have enough of those) hats, booties, blankets, special occasion outfits, bottles, breast pump, nursing pads, pacifiers, etc, think of practical things, or you could tell everyone to go to Hot Topic and get their uber punk baby clothes....Those are pretty cute, they even have cute leather shoes with stars or electric guitars on them...

Diapers, wipes, bottles, or breast feeding items (creams), toys for they baby that you don't have, keep sake items, baby book. Cleaning items for bottles and other items. TOYS

The keep sake items would be great especially if you have the name picked out for SURE!
