I have been trying for two years and desparately want to be pg. But whenever people ask I don't know WHY I want to, I just know I do. What are your reasons? Is it possible to explain or just a natural desire?

I think that for a lot of women the desire to be pregnant and ultimately a mother is very natural. I am 5 months pregnant with my first child and a few weeks ago my cousin asked me if it felt weird to have something growing inside of me. My immediate response was no. I feel like I was always meant to carry and be a mother to this baby. Don't feel bad for not having an answer, good luck and I hope that you are blessed with a baby soon.

I would want to be a mother so i could follow gods plan for me. In the bible it tells you to help multiply the earth which means to have kids. Although thats my reason, for most people its a natural desire but that cant be the only reason because some people dont want kids.

I think it is natural desire. I want to have kids but practicalities, stop me trying right now. I want to give my child the best start I can so now is not a great time. I think that question is a strange question for someone to ask, but some of us are more maternal/paternal than others.

Hey hun, cant believe people are asking you why you want to be a mum...try " its a natural instinct thing for a woman to want to reproduce, love and nuture a child".......its perfectly natural to want to have babies...just as its perfectly normal for those who dont want them and feel equally as strongly about not having them as you do about having them. I think people who ask that question are not sure if they would want a child themselves. I was asked that one time and I was shocked that I was being asked, like I was on an interview to be a mom. I agree with everyone's answer;I feel that I want to raise a child, teach them, love them and care for them...like my parents did.

It is an innate desire to procreate. I get broody all the time even though in reality a baby is the last thing I need!

The old biological clock. There is no rhyme or reason. However, once your child is born you truly do understand the meaning of life. There is no love like it.
