best thing to do is.......................

not have Norton!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(most popular doesn't translate to being the best)

but whether you insist on keeping Norton or get rid of both the virus and Norton

I suggest going to this place where they will happily help you

good luck

step one: call your IT dept. they'll re-direct you to your computer manufacturer's tech support.

step two: call the computer manufacturer's tech support. they should put you on hold for about 2 hours. and then they'll run you through the diagnostics.

step three: complete the diagnostics, with one hand typing, another hand holding the phone and your legs twisted together because you need a bathroom break after four hours on the phone.

step five: get pissed with tech support, and call IT dept. Again.

step six: be put on hold for about half an hour as the guys at the dept try and pass your call around to each other. depending on your PABX system, you could be listening to Ryan Seacrest or the first twelve notes of "A Whole New World".

step seven: someone will pick up, and you'll leave a message, though you won't know who you're leaving it for, or who you're leaving it with.

step eight: wait one day.

step nine: call the IT Dept again, scream at them, and go nuts.

step ten: if you've gotten through to this stage, call me, i may just help you remove the virus myself. But then, i'd say you haven't completed step four and re-direct you to step one.

Good luck.

First!...get any Norton off your computer...there is so much trouble with. Don't let their ads sway you. For Free, get Avast.com or preferably avg.com Take your time. Just sit back some night and learn all they (avg.com ) shows you. You must have a antivirus, a firewall, and also get spysweeper.com .

get norton up todate and do a full scan
after scan is done it will list anything that it finds
it should either quarentine/delete them
which should clear it off your pc
any that it finds that cant be fixed may need a removal tool (bad worm etc..)
look on symantec site for removal
