Barak Hussein Obama was born to a radical Muslim (terrorist)father and an athiest mother.
Newsweek: Have you read the Qur'an? Obama: I can’t say that I have read all of it.

Newsweek: Have you read enough of it to have an opinion as to whether Islam is what the 14th-century Byzantine emperor said in his argument that it was, in other words, a religion of violent conquest? Obama: I think there are so many different interpretations of Islam as there are so many different interpretations of Christianity, that to somehow fix or define a religion based on one particular reading of the text is a mistake.

I believe Mr. Obama is a muslim, he has had islamic teaching. Islamic teaching also states that it's ok to lie or even deny Islam. The term in Arabic is called Taqiyya. Obama 'claims' to be a Christian, but my question is what type of 'Christian'? Does he accept the Deity of Jesus Christ? Many groups who claim to be Christians deny Christ's Deity and infact are very close to Islam.

Osama Bin Laden has been quoted as saying America should have muslim leaders, Iran's President has invited Bush to become muslim. All of Europe is infested with a mob of islamo-fascists. I believe Mr.Obama's presidental run is the islamic worlds attempt to have a muslim in the white house by 2012!

i could lie and say it wouldn't matter, but it would. the thing is that while i do not hate muslims, i have a terrible time trusting anything they say, knowing that the Qua'ran tells them to lie to the unbelievers if it means advancing their agenda. the agenda in this case is what i have to know.

i'm sure there are plenty of muslims happily living here who are content not to change our laws so long as we don't try to convert them. but then there are the other elements who are bent on spreading the religion, by force if necessary, and i don't think it's proper myself to spread a religion by force.

but why do you doubt that Obama is christian? he says he is, and it would be easy enough to find out if he's lying- just watch and see what day he worships on.

By all means, I would vote for him - even if he was a Muslim, so long as he didn't bring his religion into our government. I'm tired of our president believing that his religion is the only one that matters - and let's not forget that god talks to him. If we can get religion away from government, I'll be the happiest girl in the world.

I think that people who believe what you said - that Obama is an attempt by the Islamic world to gain control of the White House - are paranoid conspiracy theorists.

This is the sort of Republican propoganda that keeps people from making intelligent, informed opinions.

No. My problem with Islam is the scripture of the Koran: "Defend the good and destroy the evil." It is the same as Judaism: "An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth." Christianity says: "Do good unto those who dispitefully use you, and to do so will pour coals of fire upon their heads." Also: "Vengance is mine, sayeth the Lord." Our administration today is not by any stretch of the imagination following the tenets of Christianity, even though they claim to be. If Obama was a Christian, he would have voted against the pre-emptive attack upon Iraq.

Guess what? He did. Yes I will vote for him.

My mother was a fundamental right wing Southern Baptist. I am not. I am a Zen Buddist, Hindu, Christian Agnostic. The beliefs of the parents do not neccesarily descend to the children.

To answer the initial question of would I vote for a Muslim for president, the answer is hell no.

In response to your rant againt Obama, I think you need to take the blinders off and do a little serious research on the man. He may initially been raised a Muslim, but he has since converted to Christianity, and until he does something to prove otherwise, I'll take him at his word. Those who choose to disbelieve his statement about being a Christian and instead believe that he is still a Muslim are just looking for any excuse to support their bigoted, uninformed views; that, plus they're just looking for some mud - any kind of mud - to sling, whether it's the truth or not.

expensive Mr. Vader: I even haven't any project vote casting for Obama although his faith is or if he had a conflict record like maximum politicians (none). certainly i'm more effective apprehensive with good reason about vote casting for a member of the Christian right

Bush is a christian president and look at the messed up stuff he's done during his two terms. I can care less if Obama is Muslim. Is it going to affect how he runs this country, its no different than what Bush does. Maybe a America should elect a few Muslim leaders, it would actually be diverse. Are leaders shouldn't always be white and christian. If Obama wants to be President, then let him. Muslim, Christian or Atheist. I could care less.

You are pretty ridiculous!
First of all, wether or not you beleive Obama is actually Muslim or not is irrelevant, you don't know anything about him, other than what you see on TV.
Second, we are supposed to have what is called seperation of church and state, that is in this thing called the constitution, you know, that document that our Radical Christian leader feels does not apply to him. So if Bush and his overly zealous christian administration had done their job and run the country, instead of acting like a bunch of Jehovahs Witnesses running around trying to convince the world that they know everything because God is on their side, we wouldn't even have to worry about this.
Religious beliefs should have no impact on wether or not you vote for somebody, their ability to actually work in politics should be the qualifying factor.
Keep God in church and in your life if you would like, but keep him out of our government!

Oh my god. Obama is NOT a muslim! This is so stupid.

Have you read his book?? He never even knew his father. His father was from Kenya and he went back to visit his family after he died.

And as an atheist, I would love to have GOD taken out of my government because we as a country have a bad habit of shoving down other peoples throats and NOT respecting other religions.

I wouldn't vote for him in particular, but I would vote for a Muslim if I agreed with his or her stance on the issues I consider important.

this reminds me of how people thought of catholics before kennedy was elected.

somehow they thought the pope would be in control of the presidency. turns out they were wrong.

and to answer your question, i don't have any problem with voting for a muslim, so long as they are fit for the job and i agree with their policies.
