Nope - the only 100% fool proof way to prevent babies is abstinence. Anytime you put tab A into slot B there is a chance you will create Baby C.

If a man does not want the responsibility for a child then he should not be having sex.

Hmm, good question, as the man WAS showing responsibility in birth control.

Morally, yes, I would say so, as there is still a child to be born and the father did have some part in making that child. And it's not the child's fault the method failed.

Legally, I guess that the answer would be yes as well. This quote here -

"It is truly senseless that a man who accidentally fathers a child during a one-night stand is held legally accountable as parent, while the law permits a person who deliberately plans the birth of a child to walk away scot-free," NCLR's Shannon Minter told the PlanetOut Network.

Great question, though.

Absolutely not. Should a woman be excused from her responsibilities if SHE was on birth control and it failed? No one would accept that excuse for her, so why would the accept it from a man? It takes two, and if the BC failed, he should have alerted her (i.e. "Honey, the condom broke...), and they should have discussed use of the morning after pill or other options at that moment.

If you have sex, you are taking the chance of a pregnancy. No birth control is 100%, and you shouldn't be having sex if you don't understand that.

No. It is common knowledge that no birth control is 100% effective. When you decide to have sex, you take that chance. Besides, if they allowed that, then a lot of guys out there would say that they used birth control and it failed.

NO! Everyone knows birth control is not fail proof. Ignorance is no excuse. Always think with the correct head.

No.

We were using THREE forms of birth control when we got pregnant with our son. A condom, the sponge, and birth control pills. We still got pregnant. Our son is now 12 years old.

No form of birth control is 100% effective except abstinence. We had sex - we had to face the consequences.

No.Should have used a different means of satisfaction if taking the risk that birth could possibly be the outcome.

Nope absolutely not! Come on people if you are not willing to face the possible consequences of having sex, including one night stands where you used a condom, then do not have sex! MY GOSH use your own hand, get a bj, whatever but no sex unless you are ready to handle the responsibility that comes with it.

Absolutely he should pay.
If I apply my breaks and still rear-end a person doesn't mean that an accident didn't happen and I shouldn't pay for it? NO! I was a intricate part of the accident.
