I think there will be a cure for cancer. I also think we will go to the electric care in the coming years.

In a couple of years the first muslim president of the United States of America will be born. By the time she takes office the world will have grown up and healed the wounds created at the beginning of this century and those of us still alive will sit back in our rocking chairs and say to ourselves "who would have thought..." Of course, by then we'll have seen all the other cliché "firsts" go by and we will be less surprised on second thoughts.

God Bless America and the freedom for which it was born to give to the world!

Here are my predictions.

There will be numerous fires including houses and some notable forest fires especially in the western part of the country where there are no fire-breaks.

Fighting will continue in the African and south American continents, as groups fight over both political control, money and power.

The Democratic party will take unitary action on federal laws and policy while demanding that conservatives are not behaving sufficiently in a bipartisan manner. The Republican party will continue to make concessions to the Democrats as their constituents cry and thump their chests in anger and frustration over the concessions.

Drugs will continue to play a large role in contributing to crime, as law enforcement focuses their attentions on speeders, seat belts, and other easy achievements both statistically and in building their department's financial coffers.

On the federal level, homeland security will re-double its efforts to search elderly women, target non-Muslim organizations for harassment, and crack-down on nail clippers as part of their efforts to defend the public in a non-controversial and non-profiling manner.

All the while terrorism will be increasing world-wide.
