i know the season ended already, but i just wanted 2 say i have never watched that show ever. survivor and american idol r 2 shows i dont give a sh*t about and alot of people love them.

Survivor is potentially the greatest television program ever made. You may note that it revolutionized the type of programming that we watch, in that there was no such thing as a "Reality Show" before Survivor.
If you have never watched it, how do you know whether or not you'd like it? I missed the first few seasons thinking the same way you do, and had to go back and get them on DVD, 'cause I realized what I was missing. There's a new season starting in the springtime...I highly recommend that you at least give it a shot.

never seen survivor What is the appeal of watching someone survive in a place that people already live? Plus its been on for what 10 seasons or something? Kinda like the bachelor it was ok once or twice but end it already!!!

Me! I have not watched it since the 1st season. I hate all that manipulation, coniving and ganging up on a weaker person - all the awful things they say makes for good Tv. There is enough of the above at the office. I like honesty in relationships.

I've watched a few episodes of both.
Never again.
They seem "revolutionary" because they started a trend - cheap production costs and values. Game shows did the same thing for a while 30 years ago.
These shows are shallow, crude, and mean-spirited. They bring out the worst in people.

Yes I have problem watching shows where the actors have died. I feel really sad, depressed. But still yet I do watch em, cause there is nothing else worth watching on tv anymore. Most of the shows that I loved the actors have done gone on.

I'm with you girl!!! I just don't get what all the hype is about. These shows are not even remotely interesting to me.
