What do you mean by 'cant communicate'?
Is there a tangible barrier between you two so that you can't speak to each other, or is it that there's just so much between you that you don't want to speak to each other?
If it's the first option, you should definitely find a way around the barrier for the sake of your child. If it's the latter, then you should try to find a way to convey your emotions to each other so that your child can have a good life.
At this point in time, you should put all your disagreements aside, because you're bringing a child into this world.

Go get some counseling for the two of you. If she wont go, go yourself. Your baby deserves parents who can communicate with each other, even if they are not together. You'll be dealing with this woman for the next 18 years at least.

Your question wasn,t very clear.
You don,t say whether your together or what.
If you are ask someone to act as mediator.
If she,s gone away - someone must know
where she is. The bottom line is you have
a baby to think about and you do have parental
rights. But does she have a reason not to want
to communicate with you anyway?

she has to feel safe when she communicates, meaning if she feels she will be hurt in some way by communicating her needs, fears, or problems, she will close up and become afraid of communicating. communication can solve problems or if communication is shut down because she feels she can't talk to him it will eventually destroy the relationship.

me and my husband have been dealing with the same thing. try everything before you give up, go to counseling with or without her. even by yourself, you can learn a lot about how to improve the communication. read books, read articles online...just make sure you really make the effort to fix your communication before walking away. even if you have to leave, you will still need to learn how to communicate with her in dealing with your son/daughter. I hope you can make it work.

How DID you lose communication? Is it cos she won't talk to you? Cos it's your baby as much as it is hers.
Be more specific
