Not all Republicans are Christians and not all Christians are Republican. Same for Democrats.

Could, but it would probably be difficult. Maybe one of the Log Cabin Republicans. I actually think most of the Dems are Christian also and it doesn't vary much between parties. In reality religion shouldn't play a role in whether or not someone is electable. Lastly, why did someone need to bring up whether a religion was Christian or not, that wasn't the question, because "other religious type" was included. Mean spirited I guess.

There are several Mormons who are high in the Republican party. And none of this nonsense they are Christians... There used to be a lot of Muslims until the media and the neo-libs started their Bushate "Crusader" doctrine. Even the most intelligent among us are worn down by constant exposure to Bushate.

Mormons aren't Christian?! They believe Jesus Christ was a real man and the son of God. What else does it take? Reminds me of my Southern Baptist upbringing when we were told Catholics aren't Christians. Sheesh.
