I am now a Catholic and am 'happy' being one ... but the 'road' was extremely 'long and winding' before I got here. I 'believe' because I have 'faith' ... I can 'see the huge canyon' between me and God as only a slight line in the sand, and I've 'stepped over' ... and to me RELIGION and my 'belief system' is IMPORTANT ENOUGH ON IT'S OWN ... I don't think that any 'belief to get your confidence up so you can move in life' could be a TRUE BELIEF ... I 'believe' that true belief in God should come 'by surprise' and be totally separate from anything in 'daily life' until it happens naturally. I've been or studied everything and every religion along the way and still do, even now. Things I 'can't seem to understand' now may come clear in the future ... but I 'know in my heart' that I'll never be anything but 'a child of God,' and it is up to me to decide what that means I must do or be on a daily basis.

Erm yeah and also it actually has some logical sense to it
Being a Muslim, I don't believe Jesus was the son of god, but he was still a good guy, if you get that. To me, it makes more sense

I was raised in a non denomenational church of christ. Thye cant cut their hair, wear skimpy clothes, have sex til their married. They cant do anything. I dont even go to church anymore. I go to parties. I cut my hair and I had sex when I was 14 and I wasnt married.

because i have seen what god has done in other peoples lives, and know what he did for me, and there place id rather be then in the presence of the lord

i believe because i can really feel gods peace when i need it and obey his word.and because he is so gracious in that healways loves us, i was raised this way but now i'm on my own and God is most definetly still there

MY BELIEFS ARE WHAT I FEEL IN MY HEART...........WHEN I LOOK AT MY DAUGHTERS I KNOW THEY ARE BOTH A GIFT FROM GOD...................IT HAS TAKING MY HUSBAND AND I MANY YEARS TO HAVE KIDS............ AND NOW THEY ARE HERE AND I FEEL I AM SO BLESSED.
