'Banasankria' as I'm sure we all know was a Goddess with a thousand names , these names can be memorized and recited , as I'm sure we also all know ?
That's about the gist of it, the actually purpose ? I haven't a clue but it will certainly have something to do with 'inner peace' etc etc!
I don't think it would give me any inner peace at all, it could be the last straw that breaks the camels back!!
However that wasn't your question, you can try a local temple, or if that fails as a last resort, write to Shira Vishnu Sahasranana Sat sanga
