I am returning over seas and have had no luck in finding a writer. I promised the guys in my unit that I would try to fine the writer who sent a manuscript of their fantasy book to a soldier and then was circulated around through all us. All we know is that the books name is The Crystal of Light and the writers last name is meyer. We wanted to tell them that by the time my unit recieved it, it had been divided up into chapters, which was a good thing because not all of us can read that fast. But back to purpose of my search. When I came home for leave I promised I would find a way to let this writer know that their book filled alot of lonely days and on rough days helped us forget. We know that there is a second book and wanted to fine this writer to ask if they would send us the second book if they have finished. If anyone knows who this is have them email me and I will provide the information. and if no one knows maybe the newyork times can find out for us.
Thanks
Sgt Anderso

Thanking the author is a lovely thing to do. And, Sergeant, thank you and your men for all you are doing. Bless you all.

http://www.nytimes.com/ is the NY Times site, and at the bottom there is a "contact us" link.

I hope they can help you. I couldn't find anything on the internet by that name or author.
