I saw a group of British Muslims on CNN demanding that the United Kingdom adopts Shariah law.
An Islamic lawyer also said that if he went to a jungle it did not mean that he would like like the animals. Was he refering to the British legal system as the rule of the jungle?
Is Great Britain going to turn into another Islamic republic? With democracy and the rising number of Muslims in that country at some pointin time that really may be possible.

This is never going to happen, since dissolution of culture will take time but will eventually happen, this will be a distant memory, might to seem like it now. People who don't like the system should go, since i know the british system is the fairest you'll get anywhere in the world.

You won't believe the truth here, but many of these radical mouthpieces that bleat out threats and call for Sharia Law are phoney.

You have to ask why these people are so protected & manage to gain British citizenship, despite their criminal behavior. The truth is, they're intelligence assets used to create the environment that justifies draconian political changes, like ID cards and unjust foreign policy.

For example, Abu Hamza was an MI5 asset.

The people issuing threats are not real Muslim fanatics in my opinion.

Definitely not, there have been calls for Sharia courts just for Muslims, but that would be open to abuse e.g. taking young women to court for having sex who weren't really religious but whose parents were.
Fortunately I'm sure very few Muslims would actually want Sharia law here, the number of fundamentalists is very low, so it wouldn't happen.

Well I certainly hope not. Shariah law prohibits drinking alcohol for the purpose of intoxication and that right there would not work well for me at all. I'm sure that Gordon Brown wouldn't permit such a thing from happening though. Scary isn't it?

Not a chance. A few radical Muslims would like the idea but there's no way on Earth parliament would ever approve this.

i think you or CNN made that up .how can Britain have Sharia law We Have to comply with European Law so therefore there can`t be any death penalty
on the other hand America as it does allow a death sentence is suitable for Sharia law
so mind your own backyard not ours

No, I'm not going to allow that, muslims can scream and shout all they want, if they want that evil law, they can go back home where their opinions really matter! and IF the "Muslim flag" appears over Downing Street and over Buckingham Palace, then I will rip it down and spit on it!

most unlikely. We are a multicultrual country and therefore while all belief systems and traditions should be respected, no single one should hold precidence over another.
