Explain to them that you are not their personnal babysitter. It's ok for you to watch the baby every now and then but that is THEIR child, not yours. You have the right to go out and have fun with your friends. They need to realize that they can't do that all the time. If that was the case they should not have had kids. Good Luck hon!

Don't bail out your brother, he needs to be held responsible for his actions. Your parents are missing your lovely child-that is their loss. Perhaps try to visit with your Dad away from the house at a neutral location and if your wife doesn't like it tell her you will go alone. He is your Dad and right or wrong you need him somewhere in your life. Stop trying to get the families together, they don't need to be together you can deal with them separately. Standing by your wife is expected be proud of being beside her and don't allow anyone to come between the two of you. You are your own unit the family unit and if your extended families can't honor that your better off without them.

speak up.
He is not your responsibility.
Explain to your brother that although you love him and their baby it doesnt mean they can shirk their responsibility and you would like to continue your own life as well. be cruel to be kind.
Since our daughter has been born shes never been away from us apart for a couple of hours @ a time in the day and that was RARE.
Tell him and the g.friend that you would love to help them out if it wasn't so regular.

need to fix your question. you look after who? the brother or the child? if its the baby you are watching, you tell them it's not your baby! you didn't spread your legs and have it! you have a life of your own to live, not to take care of someone elses kid. that is part of growing up and having kids. your party life ends. and you are now a parent.

you didnt say how old your brother or his girlfriend are,if they are young, then you have to explain they cant always do what they want as there is a baby to bring up,im sure they will get to grips with it pretty soon,if they are older tell them you cant do it all the time,as the baby is their responsability, goodluck

Just tell them how you feel. Or just say no when they ask to watch him, say you already have plans. It's not your job to watch him, your not the one that got knocked up. You have to live your life too.
