The Assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand on June 28, 1914 in Sarajevo. If he had not been assassinated, World War I would not have been incited and Germany would not have been able to gain enough power to begin World War II.

it's a real toss up between changing 9/11. That would not give GW a reason to send out children into a senseless war.
or going back in time and killing Bin Ladin when Clinton identified him and the Intelligence Committee didn't want to act on it, against CIA advice.
These two event would have helped the US today.

The Chicxulub asteroid impact which wiped out the dinosaurs 65 million years ago.
If that hadn't happened, mammals would probably still be insignificant mousey things, humans would never have evolved, no wars would have occurred, no Holocaust, no 9/11.
My God, what a mess we've made of this poor old planet.

I would have changed the appointment of George Bush. He was appointed in the first election never did win it. How he was elected in the second is beyoond me. So many poor people voted against their own best intrest when they casted their vote for him amazing . He has in my estimation split the american people by wrapping himself in patritisiam and the christien belife. He has a very narrow way of thinking which has alenated the rest of the world. Yes they didnt like us very much before his election but now we are dispised. He has duped the public into beliving that Iraq was the cause of 9-11 which in fact, Rumsfelts own words, there are bigger targets in Iraq then in afganistan. His agendas have ruined our economy and his thought of any social programs for his own people has gone out of the window. I could go on but I think we will not survive his Above the law additude. the only reason he is partialy listening to the house is because he is forced to..He needs to be IMPEACHED NOW

The salem witch trials
The would kill anyone, weather or not they were actually suspected.
If you were wise beyond your years, or if you knew how to swim, your a witch. If you used an herbal tea to cure the flu, your a witch. So much uneeded hate back then, for what GOD?
I think god looked at those times and weeped at the fact man was taking life and judgement into thir own hands.

Can't do it. Changing even one seemingly insignificant event would alter the fabric of time and corrupt the future as we know it today.
