Like when the "Deadman" undertaker came back? He was a biker guy for a while, then they lose the bandana and give him this weird black cowboy hat, and suddenly everyone is afraid of him... or how Umaga, who used to be one of the guys in 3 minute warning tag team, is now the samoan bulldozer and no one can beat him?

I understand what you are saying but if they never revised the characters they would have to release the talent every 2-3 years because there is only so much you can do with one storyline. I mean do you think Bob Holly would still be employed if he was still going with the racecar driver gimmick of Spark Plugg Holly? How about if Steve Austin would have remained the Ringmaster with his golden locks, I think evolving or starting completely over with a superstar is necessary is the wrestling business.

I guess it's just part of the business. The Brooklyn Brawler has been numerous WWE characters such as Kim Chee and Doink the Clown and the original "MVP" which was a nickname for his then character Abe "Knuckleball" Schwartz. If the gimmick is good and well received I think it's ok to do this, but if the idea is crap, it's better left alone.

Well, I'm sure I can kiss my 10 points for best answer goodbye but.......I think the "sho-biz" variety of wrestling is ignorant anyway. As far as your question goes-It is nothing but elaborate choreography with actors. Actors play different roles on a consistent basis of course. So that part of it is just "all in a day's work".
