I feel it is very important as it is a great time to reflect and remember your wonderful and precious times together. I love my anniversary.

Every day is as important. Anniversaries are a reason to celebrate/mourn specific events that occur in our lives.

It's the day you took those very important vows. It's kind of like a birthday or memorial. I mean, why do we celebrate a birthday? or Independence day? or Christmas? It's all what it symbolizes!!!!!!!!!! They are anniversaries too.

I have no idea but i always for get! Why do you want to remember how many years you've been married. Who cares! Just enjoy the time with that special someone!

For many, it's just nice to know your spouse remembers the day you were married. If not, you can then hold that info over his head for months, and work it to your advantage. :)
