I heard you can submit an application afterwards but I am not sure.

The most irritating, I know, answer is that it depends. It probably depends a lot on the type of school you are applying to. I worked at the admissions department at Argosy, and it was not too big of a deal there. A lot of the deadlines they had were kind of general. My boss actually told me to send out letters with a response request that was more or less 3 weeks from the date it was sent. it was my call as to what that date was and I just stamped in mail whenever it came in. On the positive side, I have noticed that even good schools are messy around admissions time. A lot of materials get lost or misplaced and they frequently don't notice what comes in late or not. If there is a stack of things to do, you don't know what came in when. Unless its obviously late (about 2 or 3 weeks, give it a shot). You could even give it a shot if its later than that and explain the reason for being late.

I did this last year, during my senior year. My counselor contacted the school and they said they would still accept applications. I applied and not all too surprising, I received a letter 3 weeks later telling me they are unable to accept me due to capacity for housing and to renew my application for their Spring Semester. I believe the only time a school would accept someone after deadline would be because of excellent qualifications to boost the school's stats. If you really want to go to the school, apply and if you don't get in, go elsewhere and you can transfer after a semester.

Good Luck

More than likely no... don't pay an application fee for an application that won't get looked at. Or...contact the admissions offices through e-mail or telephone and ask them what you should do.

Listen to KittyKat as a fellow admissions counselor I agree with her it depends on the school and their polices. It also depends on weather you have something they are looking for in order to make their class. My best advice stop asking here and call the admissions office directly.

Don't waste your time. They won't give it any consideration.
