9. In cocker spaniels, the following genotypes and phenotypes are found: ("_" means the allele is absent. See ABO blood groups for an example.)
AABB = white, A_bb = red, aabb = lemon, A_B_ = black and aaB_ = liver.
What proportion of these offspring would be expected to be black?

Not sure of the expected ratios...But somewhere in the recesses of my mind...I remember the ratio 9:3:3:1 ...so possibly the answer is 3/16 are expected to be black. I am not 100% sure. I wonder if we need some more info on Cocker Spaniel genetics.

Why don't your read your chapter and think about it and do your own homework? You're not going to learn a damned thing by asking for the answers to all of your homework problems.

If you don't understand something, then ask a question about what confuses you, but don't just have others do your homework for you...That defeats the whole purpose of homework.
