What will likely be the result is that it will now become easier for individuals to trade in both markets. Those in America will be able to purchase securities on the current London exchange with less effort, and likewise for those in the United Kingdom. There really shouldn't be any impact on the businesses since the exchange is only the place their stocks are traded and not how they actually do business. If the underlying businesses are not impacted, then the economy shouldn't be either.

yeah it has recieved a bid from American electronic stock exchange, NASDAQ.
