Your age has nothing to do with it. Someone has to think it's good enough to publish, and that it will sell enough copies to make it worthwhile. If your teachers feel that way about your work, they might be able to help you find an agent to get it published.

To become a worldwide author, I don't think it has anything to do with your age, but with the quality of your work. Chances are if someone reads your book they won't know how old you are or were when you wrote it. It's quality that will make people like your book.

There is no age limit. Just go for it.
You may feel inspired and encouraged by the fact that the author of Eragon (just recently filmatised) Christopher Paolini was only seventeen when he wrote his world famous novel. His parents' publishing company, Paolini International, LLC, published his book when he was nineteen. The book was then discovered by Alfred A. Knopf and was republished under Knopf in 2002.

I once read a diary written by a girl (no more than 10 I think). She was writing during the Kosovo war in the early 1990s.
If she can be published, then your age doesnt matter at all.

when you say world wide it could be any author. say mattie stepanek. he inspired many with his poems and his musclar dystrophy. his books were in canada and the us. u don't need ur book to be published worldwide b/c not all may like it. for example. remember the burning of harry potter books. not saying ur book isn't good but i'm saying that u don't need to neccesairly have a book be world wide. focus on the good points such as once i get it published i can delight people in not only my family but in ur state, hometown, but it's super hard to be world wide let alone to be in the top ten books but i'm sure with enough patience ur book will be a winner!

Go for it. The actress Ali Sheedy (writing as Elizabeth Sheedy) had a best-selling children's book published at age 12.

You must be old enough to know how to do it. Meaning, there is no chronological minimum. Just get a good publisher, and go for it.

Go for it...Age does not matter....If your work is good, then you should try to find an agent. The agent will be able to get you a book contract if it is meant to be for you.

It is not about age, rather it is all about marketing and being in the right place at the right time with the right story.
ie: How old was Ann Frank? 12?
