Why do they call black people 'African Americans' in the US? Do they also have European Americans or South American Americans and so on? Most black Americans can trace their families farther back than many white ones who simply call themselves 'American' just because they are white and live there. Seems crazy to me. In England we have black, brown, yellow and white people who all call themselves 'British' irrespective of origin.

Anyway to answer your question. It shouldn't matter on the sex or ethnicity of the president as long as they are the right person for the job. I'm not so sure about the present incumbent but, then again, we're stuck with Blair!

Niether. This country is not ready for that much of a change, especially when you consider who is available at this time. Perhaps another time someone with enough credentials will come along who meets those criteria of being African American, Female, or both.

The ethnicity or sex of the next president doesn't matter. I want someone intelligent who can guide our country safely throught these dangerous times.

Color and sex are irrelevant, it is the character and the ntelligence of the person which makes the difference. The are dodo birds who are women and/or African -Ameicans.In fact, there are dodo birds in every race.

Would LOVE to see a female President...she couldn't POSSIBLY be any worse than some of the men we've had...both throughout history, and in recent years. (Look at the last two, for example...a lying perjurer, and an incompetent...)
But I would vote for Saddam Hussein's corpse before I'd vote for that Hillay Clinton piece of sh*t....

It doesn't matter. As long as the next president can regain the trust of the people.

I want our next president to be qualified to run the country. The color of skin or the gender is irrelevant.
