Every hospital has a well run volunteer program. If you call, or even drop by, the general information desk they can tell you about the application process. You will most likely be given a wide range of oppurtunities to choose from: gift shop, nursery, delivering flowers, game room helper, etc. The coordinator will ask about what your interests are, so tell them you are pre-med and want to see what the nuts and bolts of a hospital is all about.

Good luck!

Many hospitals have an established volunteer program. Check their website or ask someone in a department that interests you if you can volunteer.
