I keep hearing people say inexperince shouldn't matter considering Bush had no experience before he was elected President. Well, I don't think people realize Bush was the Governor of Texas before he became president. Obama has not been a governor of any state. he's in his first term as a Senator and therefore nobody really knows his leardership abilities as of yet. Of course Bush was inexperienced as a President before he was elected. Every president was inexperienced as a president prior to being elected.

The point was that Bush was still fairly inexperienced, and certainly had no experience with national politics. To my recollection, he had no political experience prior to being governor, and was a relatively failed businessperson prior to running.
Obama was editor in chief of the Harvard law review (a VERY prestigious position, that requires lots of poltiical maneuvering itself...) Then was a law professor, community activist, and state senator in Illinois. Is this the equivalent of being governor of a very large state? No. But is it political life and action? Yes. Can his experience and votes show how he can work to accomplish important things? Yes.
Did Bush have any experience with national issues, or a "voting record"? No.
(Did Clinton have any experience, really? No (except in being a politician). He was a multi-term governor of a second-to-last-in-everything state; he became a great leader and statesman. )
Everyone knows that Obama has not been tested politically on the national scene yet. But that doesn't mean he doesn't have good ideas -- or that he can't get things done, or that he shows qualities of leadership.

I guess the only way I know how to get experience is to dive into it and if you like it and you can hold your head high then you have gained the experience, it does help though if you have made accomplishments in a positive way prior to this, unlike Bush, he should just stick his head in the ground in Iraq.

Besides his inexperience, the fact that Obama spent at least four years in a so-called Madrassa, or Muslim seminary, in Indonesia troubles me. That and the fact that he seems to be trying to hush up the fact. We are at war with Islamic terrorists, I don't think we need to take a chance on this guy.

I agree with you. Every future president is "inexeperienced" because they haven't been president yet!

As far as people freaking out because of this muslim thing, that's just plain crazy. and stupid.
