I mean it is an international blogging system. You don’t really know who is reading your most private moments.

When I read some of these thoughts from other bloggers, I always think what if their kids are reading this **** or worst yet their former spouses if that applies?

Just make sure you set your profile to Private...then only people on your friends list can view it.

Yeah... blogging is all well and good, but like any form of self expression you have to take it with a grain of salt and consider who your audience could be, and how your actions and words now may affect your future.

I am not suggesting that people sensor themselves, in fact I think that talking about and writing down your emotions can be a very therapeutic and healthy experience, but there is a time and a place and a free for all blog on myspace, may not be either of those things.

Good question by the way.

I don't think that's a good idea, any bad reputation that the spouse earned in their love relationship, it would do much good to keep it a secret rather than announcing to the whole world. What good does it bring? Nothing......right? It's just only shows that we made a great mistake and proven to be a poor decision maker. On top of that it makes us appear to be a loser.

If you set up a separate account with no pictures up so no one recognizes you, and you are out of that relationship or strong enough to resist temptation, then i see no problem with it. But if you are posting your emotions on your main MySpace about your spouse or sig. other with pictures of yourself and your kids and friends can see it, then it's an issue.

I dont know if it is a good idea or not... It is up to you... Just dont post your most private moments online if you dont want them known. Go with what you think is the right thing to do. I personally would not do it though if it was me.

Do NOT post your inner thoughts on myspace. if you really have to get it out i suggest then writing a good old fashioned diary. I have very bad experiences of posting your thoughts on myspace so my advice is to not put them there in the first place.

It depends, but I agree with you, God only knows who reads what and in my opinion, if you are doing this, better to use a different identity. However, it might serve as some form of therapy for the exhibitionists among us.

no, it is not a good idea!

nor is it a good idea to post on Yahoo ANswers about how you are having marital trouble, or lusting after your husband's friend, or is it ok to have chemistry with someone other than your sig other...or what have you. but people do it. i guess they don't have any real people to bounce things off of.
