Various spy shops on the Internet sell detectors for this type of thing. Expect to pay between $20 to $200. I'd go for the $20 version until your suspicions are confirmed.

You could always consider entertaining your alleged viewers... make it look like your are doing something horrific or awful as a gag! See if anyone comes banging on the door - that's free!

Pop open your smoke alarm and look in their. If there is anything it will be about the size of a pencil head, and it will be where the test button is. Open up your phone receiver and look into it. There might be something attached to the electrical in there. Have there been any new pictures put in your room lately? Pictures can be bought with cameras, along with radio clocks, emergency lighting, exit signs,co2 monitors, TV's, and computer speakers. So basically if somebody wants to see you they are going to. The best thing to do is to spend the money and get what's called a white noise generator. This will scramble anything that is in your house trying to emit a signal, weather it be visual or audible.

With 25 years in the camera, video, and sound business and experience in radio frequency things, I can tell you how to do it, but I would need to know why you think people are spying on you. It is harder to do what you think is being done than you think, but if fear has you in its grasp, use a metal detector and go around the walls, ceilings, etc., and then disassemble any light or electrical fixtures to see if anything strange is in there. Check the phone plugs and see if anything is installed in the phone - put in a new phone.

I was in Home Depot the other day and they have a detector they sell at the checkout counter special to find cameras and it is not very large. It cost about $30. With all of the whack jobs out there, it is not such a dumb thing to think you are being watched. It used to be that someone who thought it was out there, but now it is very common place.

If you have XP, there are malicious software updates at microsoft to be downloaded. Look through the site for all hotfixes and patches for Service Pak 2. They don't come installed on the system.

Waving an ohm meter around isn't going to do a durned thing. Here's a thought: Stage a fake drug buy. If it's the authorities, they'll show up fast. If it's the local fraternity, they might also show up pretty soon! Either way you'll have your answer.

You should be more worried about when you drive in circles and then all of a sudden there's a road block construction crew trying to look at your pupils as you pass. Seriously- GO TO BED
