Try an all-inclusive place. I hear that Apple Vacations has a lot of nice vacations in different parts of the Caribbean. You just have to watch out for hurricanes.
If you can afford it, go to Hawaii. You will constantly have something to do. You can do a couple of different islands. It's really beautiful there.
Cruises are fun, too, but i think they are better for big groups rather than couples.
If you like an active vacation, we like to go to Universal Orlando. They have a beautiful resort there. You can go to the amusement parks, hang out at the pool, get a spa treatment. At night, there are lots of great bars and restaurants at CityWalk. If you get bored, drive to Disney for the day, or to the gulf coast for a few nights.

How far are you willing to travel?? How many days?? What's your price range?? What part of the country to you live in?? Do you like tropical, city, woodlands,... ?? You need to add more details. You can never go wrong with a cruise to the Bahamas and swimming with the dolphins =)

Could you be more specific? How far away? expensive or cheap? Paris or Venice are great if money's no object.
