I don't know of any FREE sites, but symantec(Norton anti-virus) is pretty good. I personally don't like to download, I would rather buy the disc. If you ever have any problems with computer and need to reinstall your virus program, it's so much easier with a disc.

Well u can go to google and search for free downloads. To buy it wouldn't make sense when u can get it from many different free sources. Also the best virus protections are Mc Afee, Norton and A.V.G in that order.

Buy McCaffee or Norton ASAP. Just being on the internet exposes you to virus', you don't have to download or run anything. There are free ones, but they don't work as well.

Search for "Avast" virus protection and down load it. It's free and does a good job and has free automatic updates.

If you are a SBC/Yahoo DSL subscriber, they provide a anti-virus program free.

And I believe other ISPs would provide same service too. Check out the main page of your ISP.
