Ok, so… there is my friend, he’s 21 n sometimes we chat by phone… yesterday he said that he was his “cousin n my friend was dead” , that he had killed himself! I started cryin! Coz I really love him! He told me all the details how did it happen… I believed everythin! I was feelin desperate! N than he says “sorry, but I’m alive”! he was drugged n was on a high….! I just couldn’t imagine that he could do such things 2 me!he asked me2 forgie like 10 times but I wasn’t answering!!! N I don’t know what 2 do…. Should I forgive????????????????????

That doesn't really sound like a friend.
Friends don't purposely hurt each other hun!
You don't need people like that in your life.
You can forgive... but don't forget...

I cant tell you that i understand because i havent been through the same thing and people say that you only get 2 chances in life but i believe that if u really feel a need to have him there for you in your life then maybe another chance is possible but if u think he really screwed up then dont forgive him....

You can forgive him - for your sake (it's not good to hold grudges & get bitter). BUT you need to move on & not be friends with a druggie. No one needs that crap in their life!!! You can't be really good friends anyway if you don't even recognise his voice over the phone.

Nope, he sounds like a jerk and needs to stay off the drugs. Tell him to get clean then you will think about talking to him again.

death is a serious thing and friends should not joke with each other like that; whether they are high or not. however, read the underlying words -- maybe he 's reaching out and you're the one he's doing it to. you should speak with a counselor as to how to handle this.
