I'm taking my little 10 year old sister out to eat and to shop a little but she has no money and would love to raise a little of her own before we go. That kind of thing makes her feel good. How do you think is the best way for her to get a little spending cash before our outing in 2 days?

You sound like an fantastic older sister! I know, I've got two and unlike most stories that you hear about older sisters - they are fantastic too. Anybody in the neighborhood have dogs? You could offer to wash the them or you could do dog walking with her. If it's snowy where you are, you could shovel walks with. Trimming hedges - you get the high branches and she gets the lower ones? Oh yeah, washing cars and detailing them. If you can get an extension cord to a vacuum cleaner outside, then you could detail people's cars. There are lot's of things that people don't like to do themselves and they would be willing to pay you for. Anything that gets you both outside together would be great. Failing that, yup - it's chore time.

Stay in your own rental. THEN look up a First Time Homebuyers Program! There are MILLIONS out there! I heard of plenty but because I was in SUCH a rush to buy I didn't take advantage. I'm a single mother of one and I dont' make very much at all.. and I was able to buy a house on a SINGLE income mind-you.. I know yal can do it. These programs are GREAT!! You can go in with ZERO down, no closing, and low payments.. also some programs give you $1k a year to go towards helping with your property taxes for 4 years. A friend of mine pays $600/mth and she's buying! I pay a total of $800/mth and I'm BUYING! It CAN be done!! (I'm in Austin, TX so I do'nt know, maybe the cost of living is much greater where you're from -but my rental before buying was $750/mth TO RENT!! so I think I got a great deal!) Once you're "Grown" it's never a good idea to move in with other grown folks... it's just a disaster.. I mean what if they stiff you on the rent.. then that makes your credit go down the drain.. kiss that new house away... think bout it.

hmmmmm tel her 2 make something!!! and u buy from her....or tell her to do some work and u pay her......or play a game and tell her wio ever winz the game wil get ...........this much amount....or play treasure hunt and hide some money for her...simple

well, grama, mom, dad, you, neighbors, any one she knows.....ask them all if there is anything she can do for them around the house to make some money, help with dishes, paint a chair, shovel snow, walk there dog, anything she can do for a buck,
