We know that there are alot of words that we cannot use. For example the "N" word or "F"/gay" or "W"/chuntaro", etc..... Because all these words are offensive to someone out there. I agree with this, but should a law be passed stopping everyone from using these words? Don't the politicians have something more pressing to be working on? We as the people should know when to use these words and to who. What are your opinions?

The PC Movement is reverse discrimination gone amok. It's okay to slam Christians, but not Muslims. It's perfectly natural to call a right-to-lifer a bigot or a fool; anyone believing that marriage is only between a man and a woman* is considered to be a Neanderthal.

There's plenty of Freedom of Speech - only not for the conservative viewpoint any more.

Well, I'm NOT PC and I'm proud of it.

1st you can use the words above, no law against using the word ****** or hillbilly white trash. These words are in the dictionary and are slang. You are right they shouldn't be used. There should be no law in saying what I believe as long as it's the truth, and besides we have lot more problems then some asshole calling someone a name. I firmly believe if someone is harassing me with any word then I like the words "street justice"

No there should not be a law passed, because that would be going against the Bill of Rights and the Constitution. Of course Bush has already done a good job on destroying those already.

Some countries do have specific forbidding specific speech. I hope this does not come to the US! I think that idiocy can only be defeated in the free public marketplace of ideas.

The first amendment GUARANTEES the right to say what you choose, and their is NO stipulation that it can't "offend" someone.

It's just PC gone haywire.
