always seemed to have issues with her glasses flying off? Weren't there technicians at the opthomologist that could have adjusted them for her?

her glasses seem a bit thick so they might be flying off b/c theyre heavy..and grab a yearbook from 1977---check out the cokebotlle glasses from that era....glasses and lense tech have made huge advances since then...maybe her parents didnt have good vision insurance!

It's the old saying..."Girls with glasses never get passes"
She subconsciously wants to attract either Fred or Shaggy and knows that she can't compete with Daphne, so the glasses keep mysteriously "falling" off

Since she was the only one that could think, the writers had to give her a weakness (stereotypical at the time) or she would take over the world.
